Giuseppe’s, a family-run boutique based in the Midwest, has opened its online store. Founded by Joey “Giuseppe” Salomone, the shop features Italian-made and Italian-inspired jewelry, including original designs that draw on Salomone’s Italian-American heritage.

The business began in 2020, when Salomone was working as an ICU nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted a project to occupy his mind after shifts. He started buying estate jewelry by the pound, repairing individual pieces and selling them on eBay. Along the way, he built relationships with jewelry distributors and began thinking about what he might design himself.

Salomone still works as an emergency room nurse, and his family helps keep the boutique running around his shifts. His wife, handles much of the marketing and behind-the-scenes work. Their daughters sometimes help wrap jewelry and pack orders, though some days they just hang out in the shop listening to music with their dad while he works.

The new storefront gives the family a place to introduce original designs, share the stories behind them, and keep customers updated on restocks. Jewelry is the focus of the shop, with plans to expand gradually into handbags, skincare, clothing, and accessories.

Alongside its jewelry, Giuseppe’s online store will offer a curated selection of purses and skincare products, giving shoppers more ways to discover the boutique’s Italian influences. The shop will prioritize products made in Italy and also feature select pieces inspired by Italian style. The initial handbag selection will come from outside brands, with Giuseppe’s own handbag line planned for a future release.

For Salomone, the goal is to offer well-made pieces at prices that feel within reach and share a little of the Italian style he grew up appreciating. Shoppers can explore the collection and check back for new releases at Giuseppe’s online store.
